The title track off TV Dream’s debut EP, Come of Age, asks, “Why can’t growing old be cool,” and that might be the understatement of the year.
This EP exudes a bit of ‘80s goth. Slowed-down '80s synth goth. Like if you slowed down "Mad World" by Tears for Fears was put into a horror movie (but not the Donnie Darko version) and made it about growing up instead of existential dread, which might be redundant.

At the same time, it makes me think of a Goron from Legend of Zelda mourning the loss of a loved one. This fits Zelda canon. Their culture is a rich one that value the arts. The promoted sentence of Zelda Wiki when I googled, “is Goron capitalized,” states, “Gorons love entertainment through singing and dancing, and Goron dances mostly capitalize on their size instead of being concerned with finesse.” Have you seen them dance? Have you heard the “Goron Lullaby?” It's beautiful.

All of this brings me to say that this EP can be summed with the following: if Car Seat Headrest made lofi indie dream pop.
