The first half of “you liar” by MUNINN is 95% questions. So I’ve decided to go through and answer all of the questions posed (or the ones I can decipher) in this song. Questions are in bold. Answers are not. 

Indie folk band (I don’t know if this is the most accurate genre placement, but I’m going with it) The Penny Candies just released their latest single, “The Fox.”

Zach Collier, beloved founder and editor of Provo Music Magazine, released a new song last Friday entitled, "A Blessing," under his solo project, Zachisatourist. Zach is a good friend, kind of my boss (for PMM), and in a way, my rival in the local music coverage here in Utah. We both had the idea to roast his latest single, and he more than willingly gave me permission. Please read all the way to the end. 

Recently, I have had a few people come up to me and say something along the lines of “I love your videos. Your deadpan delivery is great.” Well, I hate to burst your bubble, but that’s just my voice. It’s not like I’m intentionally trying to sound that way. That’s simply how I talk.

Love me a good cover, and Black Flak and the Nightmare Fighters’ cover of "Uninvited" is pretty dang good.

For those of you that have talked to me on a slightly different level outside of small talk, you’ll know that there’s a softer side to Andy McFerren. In fact in a strange turn of events I’d like to believe that the majority of me is that softer side, though a healthy dose of cynicism still remains. 

I saw Dune Moss over the weekend. It was, in a word, transcendent. I’m pretty sure at one point my soul left my body, and I watched myself watch the concert.

I’m not sure I can recommend Teddy Unchained by P.S. Destroy This to  everyone that follows this blog. It’s not for the faint of heart. I am pretty sure this is the type of music that Tucker Carlson would call satanic ritual and blame the earthquake in Turkey on. And I’m just going to be honest, though I vehemently disagree with anything Mr. Carlson might say, as the mild-mannered man that I am who is as white as Wonder Bread,  this EP really kind of scares me.

To out myself on how old I am, I started high school in 2007. Now, a lot of the readers of this blog are older, and unfortunately for them, probably have a vivid memory of what the mid-to-late ‘00s were like. But some of you are younger, and might not remember it well, so let me paint you a picture of what that was like for me.

Cannibal Queen is called that because they have the power to drive a person to the brink of insanity, and legend has it, even to the point of cannibalism.
